Professional Background and Achievements

I started my career in local government, serving as the City Clerk in several cities over the course of fifteen years including being the City Clerk/HR Director for the City of Waterloo, Iowa for seven years.  In 2016, I was ready for a career and my former business partner, and I opened our first Pet Supplies Plus in Cedar Falls Iowa and over the next seven years we opened seven additional stores.

When did I start working for BCP and what positions have I held?

I began working for Bernau Capital Partners in January of 2024 when I sold the company to them and took on the role of Chief Operating Officer.

What is my specific role at BCP beyond my job title?

At Eight Mile Pets, Inc. I am responsible for the operation and expansion of the Pet Supplies Plus franchises. We currently have just under 200 employees and eight locations in Iowa.

Family

My husband Marc owns a granite and quartz countertop business and then is a part of his family farm in eastern Iowa. We have been married for two years and five children between us.

Hobbies

When we are not working we enjoy spending time with our family on our boat in Clear Lake, Iowa.
