Professional Background and Achievements

I am a senior level manufacturing executive with extensive expertise in multiple industries.  As a reliable and effective executive leader, I bring a vision-driven approach to decision making, strategic planning, and tactical implementation.

When did I start working for BCP and what positions have I held?

Tom and I became partners in FOL-DA-TANK in late 2020.  Our vision is to acquire and grow more companies that manufacture and market unique products.

What was the last job I had before coming to work for BCP?

Prior to acquiring FOL-DA-TANK, I was the CEO of MoboTrex, Inc. which manufactures and distributes equipment for traffic signal intersections throughout North America.  MoboTrex has four physical locations and 175 employees. The privately held company was governed by a board of directors and Tom was the Board Chairman.

What is my specific role at BCP beyond my job title?

My responsibility within BCP is only for FOL-DA-TANK and any other acquisitions which Tom and I partner on in the future.  I offer my experience and expertise to HR, IT, and finance resources when I am asked or when I think it will help.

Family

My wife recently transitioned from a career as an in-clinic physician to working from home on the MDLive platform delivering telemedicine services in Iowa and Illinois.  My two daughters are grown and working full time.  One lives nearby in the Quad Cities and the other lives in Chicago.  We have three Cavalier King Charles dogs and two American Saddlebred horses which my wife shows in competitions.

Hobbies

I have been a certified master scuba diver since 2007 and love to dive in warm clear water.  Dive trips are only once or twice a year, so I enjoy swimming laps at noon at the local YMCA and hiking with a few close friends on the weekends.

Fun Fact

During the pandemic lockdown, I hiked 64 miles on the Hennepin Canal trail in central Illinois.
