IMT Des Moines Marathon announces new title sponsor of the 5K – The Local 5 5K.

The IMT Des Moines Marathon is happy to announce a new partnership with Local 5 ABC. Now known as the “Local 5 5K” the 5K road race offers a shorter distance to those runners wanting to partake in the IMT Des Moines Marathon weekend, but not ready to take on the longer distances. The Local 5 5K is 3.1 miles of the IMT Des Moines Marathon course and welcomes runners and walkers of all abilities. “This is a great way to partake in the biggest running event in Iowa and feel the amazing energy of the finish line. We are really excited about our partnership with Local 5 and can’t wait to see everyone at the start line!” Said Jake Jass, Race Director.
